This forward-looking approach enables early, pre-emptive interventions to mitigate the impacts of predictable shocks before they escalate into disasters. By linking early warnings to pre-arranged financing and coordinated actions, AA protects vulnerable populations, reduces damages and losses, and bridges the gap between development and humanitarian efforts.
